Guy Crowell has been named assistant plant manager for Island Princess in the Honolulu operation. He was previously operations manager for airline caterer Gate Gourmet International.

Leland Nye has joined Hawaiiana Management Company as management executive. He previously worked for Colliers Monroe Friedlander.

Marc Higuchi has been named management executive for Hawaiiana Management Company. His past employment includes working for Colliers Monroe Friedlander, and as operations analyst at Bank of Hawaii.

Kellie James has been named Realtor associate for Castle and Cooke Realty. James assists home owners to sell their existing homes and helps prospective buyers purchase previously owned homes.

Kristin Watase has been promoted to executive assistant housekeeper Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. She joined the firm in 2001 as a management trainee for the Hilton Professional Development Program with emphasis in the housekeeping department. She has more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Alma Hamamoto

Alma Hamamoto has been promoted to senior event service manager for the Far East division of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. She has been in the hospitality industry for 23 years. She joined Hilton in 2005 as Far East service manager.

Dana Okudara

Dana Okudara has been appointed the new assistant director of housekeeping for the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Okudara will oversee the housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards set by the hotel including inspections on rooms, corridors, lobbies, function rooms, public facilities including restaurants and lounges for cleanliness and appearance. She has been with the company for 12 years.

Alvin Abadilla

Alvin Abadilla has been appointed telecommunications manager for the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. He joined Hilton in May 2006 as a management trainee for the Hilton Professional Development Program.
