Oscar Guadian

Oscar Guadian has been promoted from line cook to sous chef of P.F. Chang’s China Bistro. He joined P.F. Chang’s in 2002 as a prep cook at the Milwaukee, Wis., restaurant and quickly worked his way up to sous chef.

William T. Comstock

William T. Comstock has been named general manager of the Pacific Beach Hotel. He previously worked as the general manager of the Outrigger Canoe Club. He has 30 years of experience in management and hotel operations.

April Lacsina Akeo

April Lacsina Akeo has joined Hawaii Pacific University as an adjunct faculty member of the school of nursing. Akeo worked more than 20 years in the health field. She is a registered nurse for the state of Hawaii in the risk management quality improvement department.

Barbara Bareng

Barbara Bareng has been named office manager of Island Princess Macadamia Nut Company in the Honolulu administrative offices. She previously served as general manager at Craft Supply of Honolulu and The Hobby Company.

David Arakawa

David Arakawa has been named executive director of the Land Use Research Foundation of Hawaii. Arakawa served as senior vice president - general counsel and corporate secretary for Hawaiian Airlines since 2005. His past employment includes serving as corporation counsel for the City and County of Honolulu.
