Randy Obata

Randy Obata has been named press secretary for U.S. Rep. Neil Abercrombie in the Honolulu office. Obata has worked as press secretary and communications director to Lt. Gov. and then Gov. Ben Cayetano, and press secretary to former U.S. Rep. Ed Case. Obata also worked in radio and television as a reporter and newscaster for KHVH, KSSK and KGMB.

Russell Lundberg

Russell Lundberg has been named director of network engineering for Mobi PCS. He previously worked as director, information technology for the company. He has nearly 30 years of experience with wireless and fixed telecommunications companies.

Tom Broderick

Tom Broderick has been promoted to Honolulu operations manager from general superintendent for Kiewit Building Group. Broderick has been with Kiewit since 1981.

Thomas Lee

Thomas Lee has been named development manager for Hunt Development Group. Lee will assist in managing the development of a master-planned community.

Ari Mesa

Ari Mesa has been promoted to from sales manager to vice president of sales and marketing for Summa Hawaii. Mesa has more than 13 years experience in sales.

Lisa Maruyama

Lisa Maruyama has been hired as vice president of public affairs for Bright Light Marketing Group. Her past employment includes serving as executive director for the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council.

Maurice Hatada

Maurice Hatada has joined Mobi PCS as controller. Hatada will be responsible for managing all accounting functions, including purchasing, taxes, inventory, analysis and reporting. His career history includes serving as a chief financial officer.
