Sherri Yim has been named senior vice president and controller for First Hawaiian Bank. She was previously senior vice president and controller at Central Pacific Bank. Yim has more than 20 years of experience in financial and business management.

Travis Farmer has been named information system manager for Energy Industries. He has more than nine years’ experience working in the technology field as a network administrator for the Navy.

Joanna Sablan-Yuen

Joanna Sablan-Yuen has been named membership director of the Pacific Club. She began her tenure at the club in 2005 as administrative assistant for the front office.

Wilma S. Kanda

Wilma S. Kanda has been appointed to the Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional Blue Ribbon Panel by the Electronics Payments Association. Kanda is a self-service project manager of the Automated Clearing House and assistant vice president at Bank of Hawaii. She joined the firm in 1981.

Martha Kiyomi Sloan

Martha Kiyomi Sloan has been promoted to vice president and service manager for the American Samoa District of Bank of Hawaii. She will oversee operations for all three Bank of Hawaii branches in American Samoa. She has more than 30 years experience in the financial services industry.

Anita Pangan has been named employee of the quarter for St. Francis Hospice-The Sister Maureen Keleher Center in Nuuanu. Pangan has been an employee since 1988.
