Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Edward Clair Jones has been named president and chief executive officer for the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific. He previously was the system director for Sharp HealthCare Rehabilitation Services in San Diego, California where he had been since 1991.

Wendy Suite has been named writer, producer, director for creative programs with PBS Hawaii. Her employment past includes working at KHNL and KFVE.

Daryl Harada has been named director and editor at PBS Hawaii. His past employment includes working with KHON and KITV.

Robert Pennybacker has been named vice president of creative services at PBS Hawaii. He is the owner of Pennybacker Creative. He will be responsible for combining production and programming at PBS Hawaii.

Lance Rae has been hired as an account executive for the Limtiaco Company. His career path includes working as a legislative aid, freelance writer and event planner.

Paula Bender has been named the account executive and editorial director for the Limtiaco Company. She previously worked at Oceanic Institute as a communications specialist, editor and web master.

Eric K. Martinson has been elected the chairman of the board of directors of the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii for 2007-2008. Martinson is managing director of Tradewind Capital Group.

Brian S. Ishikawa has been promoted to senior vice president from vice president of the security department at Bank of Hawaii. He currently serves as director of corporate security and is responsible for all security programs for the bank. Ishikawa joined Bank of Hawaii in 2001 as a security investigator.

Ronald E. Cannoles has been promoted to senior vice president of Bank of Hawaii. He will work in the Pacific Islands division as retail and operations manager. He will be responsible for the sales, service, operational and compliance functions of retail banking within the Pacific Islands Division. Cannoles joined Bank of Hawaii in 1986 as a management trainee.

Jayne Peterson has earned the Graduate Realtors Institute designation. She is a realtor associate with Foster Realty.

Michael Troy has been promoted to director of advertising and promotions Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii. He previously worked with the company as served as director of sales and electronic marketing for Hawaii and French Polynesia for eight years. He has more than 25 years of operations, sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry.

Jackie McBride Tsukiyama to director of sales technology and administration Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii. Tsukiyama began her career at Starwood Hotels and Resorts in 1980.
