Gay Nagashima Sato

Gay Nagashima Sato has been hired as IT project manager for Roberts Hawaii. She will facilitate and coordinate IT initiatives and projects for the company. She was previously an operations manager for Nextel.

Ryan Harada

Ryan Harada has been named executive vice president and manager - commercial real estate loan division - for Central Pacific Bank. Harada has 20 years of experience in commercial real estate.

Shentel Romias

Shentel Romias has been promoted to general manager for Jamba Juice Kailua Village. Romias joined Jamba Aiea in 2003 as a team member. She is now in charge of the store’s day-today operations.

Alicia Huffman

Alicia Huffman has joined the Honolulu law firm Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLP. Huffman concentrates her practice in litigation and was previously a litigation associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in San Francisco.

Karen Street

Karen Street has been appointed executive vice president and director of human resources for Central Pacific Bank. Prior to joining CPB, she served as vice president, organizational development for First Insurance Company of Hawaii.

Greg Payton

Greg Payton has been named CEO for Mental Health Kokua. He was previously the regional manager for Kaiser Behavioral Health Services and has more than 25 years of mental health experience.

Dr. John Hart

Dr. John Hart has been promoted to associate dean of Hawaii Pacific University’s College of Communication. Hart joined HPU in 1999 as an associate professor and became assistant dean of the college of communication in 2002.

Carrie Carlin

Carrie Carlin has been hired as an account executive for Bennet Group Strategic Communications. She was previously an account executive for Stryker Weiner & Yokata Public Relations Inc. In her position she will work with Maui Land & Pineapple, Hunt Development Group, among others.

Ananias Kahueinui Temaeva

Ananias Kahueinui Temaeva has been named sales coordinator for the Waikiki property of Resort Quest International. His responsibilities include managing site inspections for business clients. He has 14 years of experience in hotel operations and management.

Tom Ku

Tom Ku has been promoted to assistant chief information officer for Hawaii Pacific University. He will champion projects initiated by the ITS division and will assist the chief information officer in the management of dayto-day operations.

Keith Marsden

Keith Marsden has been appointed assistant outlet manager at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel’s Surf Room. Marsden joined the Sheraton team in 2007 as assistant outlet manager at the Sheraton Waikiki’s Ocean Terrace restaurant.
