Alan Young has joined Servco Pacific as group vice president and general manager for Servco Lexus. He previously worked as general and executive manager at a dealership in California.

Keith “Kale” Kippen has joined Servco Pacific as service manager at Waipahu Auto. He previously served as service manager at Cutter Chevrolet.

Whit Michel has joined Servco Pacific as finance and insurance program and compliance manager.

Keith S. Kogachi has been named vice president of investments for Island Insurance Company.

Tess Lane has earned the 2005 Hawaii Association of Language Teachers (HALT) award for excellence in foreign language teaching in higher education. Lane is an associate professor of Spanish and Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) at Hawaii Pacific University.

Cindy Wong has earned the 2005 Hawaii Association of Language Teachers (HALT) award for excellence in foreign language teaching in higher education. Wong is a Japanese teacher at Aiea High School.

Chris Colgate has been appointed a member of the board of directors for Aloha Harvest. Colgate is senior general manager of both Hula Grill Waikiki and Duke’s Canoe Club Waikiki.

Cicely “Cis” Crocker George has been named the 2005 Parade of Homes Steering Committee chair for the Building Industry Association of Hawaii. She is a Realtor.

Debbie Smatresk has been named program manager of the Sultan Early Intervention Program for Easter Seals.

Denise Bartimus has recently been promoted from Home & Community- Based Services (H&CBS) assistant program manager to H&CBS program manager for Easter Seals.

David Hayashi has been promoted to regional vice president of sales from regional operations manager for Energy Industries.

Diane Young has been promoted to assistant vice president, manager of reinsurance and loss-bearing non-core products for First Insurance Company of Hawaii.

David Tumilowicz has been promoted to director of marketing at interactive television company Broadband iTV (BBiTV).

Marc Inouye has been named account executive at Hawaii Business magazine. He previously served as an account executive for Sports Radio 1420 AM in 2004 and KCCN FM 100 in 2003.
