Etsuko Arnold

Etsuko Arnold has been promoted to concierge manager - Honu Ohana Suite for the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. She previously served as service express assistant manager at Honu Ohana Suite. Arnold has been with the Sheraton since 2006.

Kathy Tswei

Kathy Tswei, owner/principle broker of Pan Pacific Realty, LLC has been named certified international property specialist (CIPS) by the National Association of Realtors. She joins a worldwide referral network of elite global real estate practitioners with expertise in working with international clients as well as immigrants.

Huy Vo

Huy Vo has been promoted to account executive for Bright Light Marketing. He will be responsible for fulfilling clients’ business needs as well as coordinating special events and media relations. Vo was previously assistant account executive for the agency.

Nicole Tsunoda

Nicole Tsunoda has been promoted to audit senior for N&K CPAs Inc. She previously served as staff accountant for the company. Tsunoda joined N&K CPAs Inc. in October 2006.

Kathryn Acorda

Kathryn Acorda has been hired as director of strategic partner development for Kiewit Building Group Inc. Acorda’s duties include structuring and expanding the firm’s business relationships with clients, design firms, subcontractors and the community. She also will oversee marketing and public relations for the company.

Linda Tran

Linda Tranhas been appointed human resources manager for Kiewit Building Group. Prior to joining the company, Tran served as human resources director for First American Title Company Inc. In her new position, she will be responsible for all personnel-related functions.

Sherman Wong

Sherman Wong has been named preconstruction manager for Kiewit Building Group. Wong will oversee all pre-construction planning including training and estimates for new projects. He has 14 years of experience in master planning, architecture, project management and construction management.

Charles Servey

Charles Servey has been appointed executive director for The Arc in Hawaii, a nonprofit corporation that advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Servey was most recently executive director of TigerPlace LLC, a senior living facility in Missouri.

Jill Shimokawa Higa

Jill Shimokawa Higa has been promoted to executive vice president and division manager for Bank of Hawaii’s Hawaii Branch Division. With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Higa will be responsible for leadership of the bank’s network of 72 branches statewide and administration of key areas in the division.

Carol Morimoto

Carol Morimoto has been named project director for Hui Hoomalu, a program of Partners in Development Foundation. She previously served as assistant project director and is responsible for developing the Resource Advisory Council and newsletter.
