May Cabauatan

May Cabauatan has been hired as revenue manager for Aqua Hotels & Resorts. Cabauatan’s responsibilities include overseeing Hotel Renew, Aqua Coconut Waikiki, Aqua Continental and Aqua Waikiki Beachside. Most recently she was guest services manager for Aqua Bamboo & Spa.

Aaron Eberhardt

Aaron Eberhardt has been named executive director for Hawaii Lumber Products Association (HLPA). Eberhardt will work with HLPA’s president to increase the organization’s presence and awareness of the association mission and goals throughout the community. He also will serve in an outreach capacity, working to increase relations with state legislators and industry professionals.

Andrew Rosen

Andrew Rosen has been hired as senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Central Pacific Bank. Rosen’s duties include overseeing the bank’s product management, marketing analytics and alternative and future delivery channels divisions. Prior to joining CPB, he served as senior vice president of Washington Mutual where he led product management and strategy.

Todd F. Jackson

Todd F. Jackson has been promoted to senior vice president and executive loan officer for Central Pacific Bank’s Real Estate Loan division. Jackson has more than 30 years of banking experience and is responsible for increasing the Division’s loan portfolio and focusing on development projects in Hawaii.

Jennifer Macaraeg

Jennifer Macaraeg has been appointed vice president and investment consultant for Central Pacific Bank. She previously served as assistant vice president and investment consultant for the bank. Macaraeg will be responsible for wealth management, including stocks, bonds, mutual funds and annuities.

Bryan Miyasaki

Bryan Miyasaki has been named architectural designer for Graham Builders. Miyasaki’s responsibilities include developing architectural designs, specifying project finishes and producing construction documents for the company’s many residential projects. He will also conduct site inspections during the construction process. He has more than six years of experience in the industry.

Cedric Akau

Cedric Akau has been appointed chief of the Division of Physical Medicine at Rehabilitation for John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) at the University of Hawaii. Akau will lead the effort to develop curriculum and clinical faculty around musculoskeletal injuries and major disabling conditions, including stroke and spine trauma. He also has been a member of the medical staff at REHAB for 22 years.

Leonard Licina

Leonard Licina has been promoted to chief executive officer for Kahi Mohala Behavioral Health. Licina joined Kahi Mohala in 1995 as chief financial officer and previously served as interim CEO. Kahi Mohala cares for those who suffer from emotional, physical and behavioral health challenges.

Tom McAuliffe

Tom McAuliffe has been named director of communications for The Grassroot Institute of Hawaii, a research and public policy think tank based in Honolulu. McAuliffe was previously the editor of Government Video Magazine and most recently served as a community relations specialist for a member of the Hawaii State Legislature.

Jennifer Diesman

Jennifer Diesman has been promoted to assistant vice president of government relations for HMSA. In this position, Diesman will manage the health plan’s state and federal public policy efforts such as health care legislation, working with industry groups and supporting community relations efforts.
