Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Joel Ganotisi

Joel Ganotisi of Architects Hawaii Limited (AHL) has received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation. Ganotisi serves as a project architect and has nine years of architectural experience. He has worked on numerous residential, retail, medical and institutional projects.

Carol Kleppin

Carol Kleppin has been promoted to CAD systems manager for Architects Hawaii Limited (AHL). Kleppin joined AHL in 2000 with more than 20 years’ experience in architecture and AutoCAD. Kleppin’ s responsibili-ties include planning, maintaining and coordinating the firm’s CAD system as well as overseeing CAD training strategies and coaching.

Michael Hasselle

Michael Hasselle has been appointed director of supply chain management for Kaiser Permanente. He will oversee the organization’s supplies budget and allocation of equipment, supplies and purchased services each year, in addition to providing product support for Kaiser Permanente’s hospitals, clinics and members.

Renee Sanabria

Renee Sanabria has been hired as a financial services associate for Prudential Life Insurance Company of America. Sanabria has seven years’ experience in business and finance and is licensed to sell life and health insurance LTC, annuities and retirement funds. She also is a member of Latin Business Hawaii.

Jerry Gibson

Jerry Gibson has been appointed area vice president of Hawaii and managing director of Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. Gibson will be responsible for all of Hilton’s owned and managed properties in the islands, including Hilton Hawaiian Village and Hilton Waikoloa Village. He most recently served as vice president and managing director of Hyatt Regency Chicago and assisted in the management of 25 hotels in the central region.

Edward C.S. Kim

Edward C.S. Kim has been promoted to executive vice president for Bank of Hawaii’s Consumer Lending Department. His new responsibili-ties include overseeing the bank’s consumer lending division, which includes development and management of direct consumer lending products, and consumer collection and recovery. Kim was previously senior vice president.

Brant Yoshida

Brant Yoshida has been named a financial services associate with Prudential Life Insurance Company of America. Yoshida’s duties include selling life and health insurance LTC, annuities and retirement funds. He is a member of the Honolulu Chamber of Commerce.

Brian Lee

Brian Lee has been named Honolulu station operations manager for Aloha Contract Services, a division of Pacific Air Cargo. Lee p reviously served as ramp manager with Aloha Airlines and has 27 years’ experience in the airline industry. In his new position, he will manage and coordinate daily flight activity, train new staff and work with state and federal agencies to insure the company meets regulatory standards.

Janice Nillias Knapp

Janice Nillias Knapp has been named director of development for Sacred Hearts Academy. She has 10 years’ management experience in the nonprofit sector, including the American Liver Foundation, and Red Cross.
