Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Scott Kuioka has been promoted to vice president for Bank of Hawaii, where he previously served as assistant vice president. Kuioka will continue his duties as a portfolio manager in the Private Client Asset Management department. He also will be responsible for providing comprehensive portfolio management and analytic tools for individual clients.

David Oyadomari has been hired as vice president and Internet banking business manager for Bank of Hawaii. Oyadomari previously served as a member of Roberts Hawaii Inc.‘s executive management team. In his new position, he will be responsible for Hawaii sales and marketing, including strategy, planning and implementation of e-commerce/web site and business development.

Wanda M. Randall has been promoted to vice president and leader of the investment review team for Bank of Hawaii.  Randall joined the bank in 1968 and previously was assistant vice president in the private client asset management group. She will now oversee investment reviews for both private client asset management and institutional accounts.

Stuart J. Lehr has been hired as vice president and bank secrecy act officer for Bank of Hawaii. With more than 20 years’ experience in corporate compliance and risk management, Lehr will direct the bank’s compliance program relating to anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing. He most recently served as a senior director in the global compliance risk management group of PayPal Inc. in San Jose.

M. Patricia Welling has been named vice president and commercial loan process manager for Bank of Hawaii’s wholesale credit department. Prior to joining the bank, she was general counsel for Lender Support Systems Inc. in San Diego. Welling also is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and the American Corporate Counsel Association.

Debbie Ann Ogata has been appointed product specialist for the Hawaii region of Sub-Zero/Wolf, specializing in premium refrigeration and cooking appliances. In her new position, Ogata will serve as the information center for all showroom visitors, including architects, retail dealers and kitchen designers. She also will share expert advice on many of the new products offered by the company.

Keith Ogata has been named a national SCORE board of director. SCORE is a national nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of the nation’s small businesses. Ogata previously was the CFO of National Education Corp. (NYSE), an education, training and publishing company in the U.S.

Kurt Hargens, vice president of sales for Sub-Zero/Wolf, has transferred to Hawaii to provide his expertise in sales of the company’s premium refrigeration and cooking appliances. Hargens will oversee retail and builder sales of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances throughout the state.
