Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Michele Nagamine has been appointed business development director, Sports Market for Outrigger Enterprises Group. Nagamine will handle the daily operations, sales and marketing efforts for all sports bookings within the company’s portfolio of Hawaii properties. She also will represent the company at trade shows and conventions, among o t h e r duties.

Heidi Aguinas has been promoted to community manager of Hamilton/Patriot Community Center for Army Hawaii Family Housing. She previously worked as assistant community manager for the Wheeler community. Aguinas has been with the company since 2007.

Garrett Miyake has been hired as commercial project consultant for Sunetric. In this role, Miyake will work to help educate business owners on how they can use solar energy as an investment in their business and future, and will ultimately work with clients to find the best solar systems to meet their needs. He has more than 25 years of sales management experience.

Tom Cross, director of operations for Turtle Bay Resort, has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the Ko`olauloa Educational Alliance Non-Profit Corporation. Cross was previously food and beverage director at Hawaiian Regent Hotel, the Hawaiian Waikiki Beach Hotel and assistant food and beverage at Hotel Utah.

Wen Li has been promoted from audit staff to audit senior for N&K CPAs Inc. Li worked as a bookkeeper and tax intern with a CPA firm before joining N&K. The firm’s services include management consulting and training, tax planning and compliance , auditing and accounting , among others.

Dr. Seri Lee has been named chief technology officer for Pipeline Micro Inc., developer of the world’s smallest and most efficient liquid cooling systems for electronics. Prior to joining the company, Lee spent nearly 10 years with Intel Corporation, where he served as senior thermal scientist.

Dr. Lawrence Tseu has been named to The Friends of the Hawaii State Art Museum board of directors. As a director, Tseu will help to fulfill HISAM’s mission of assisting the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts with the development and operation of the Hawaii State Art Museum to expose and educate the people of Hawaii and visitors to the arts and artists of the state.
