Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

William K. Mahoe, treasurer of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 3, has been appointed to the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) board of directors. He previously served as assistant representative for District 17’s Honolulu Office.

Kathleen Sullivan Wo has been appointed chair of the board of regents for Chaminade University. Wo was instrumental as chair of Chaminade’s board of governors, as well as a regent, and in the success of the university’s Transformations campaign.

Calvin T. Yoza has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president of the Channel Management Group for Bank of Hawaii. In his role as technology and training manager, Yoza oversees system applications, project implementations and training, as well as ensures that the department meets quality assurance standards.

Creighton Hartling has been promoted to sales assistant/samples specialist for Bella Pietra, Hawaii’s premier natural stone company. Hartling’s responsibilities include creating and maintaining stone samples for clients and assisting sales representatives. He most recently worked in the company’s warehouse.

Dr. Carlos Juarez, Hawaii Pacific University’s dean of International Studies and a professor of political science, has been confirmed by the U.S. Department of State as the new honorary consul of Peru to Hawaii. He joins the Consular Corps of Hawaii to provide diplomatic representation to the Republic of Peru.

Jeoffrey S. Cudiamat, director of Honolulu’s Department of Facility Maintenance (DFM) and chief engineer of the City and County of Honolulu, has joined the Board of Water Supply’s (BWS) board of directors. Cudiamat brings a diverse back-ground to the BWS. In addition to his role as DFM director, he currently owns and operates Structural Hawaii Inc. and Cudiamat Design and Engineer Services. He is a licensed engineer in the state of Hawaii.

Bob Baker has been promoted to operations service manager for Pacific Wireless Communications. Baker has more than 15 years of successful experience in managing Motorola and PWC service centers. In this position, he will oversee PWC’s service centers statewide.
