Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Frank M. Tokioka II has been promoted from vice president to president for National Mortgage & Finance (NMF) Company. Tokioka has served as secretary, treasurer and board member in charge of the company’s finances and investments. He also holds the title of chairman of NMF subsidiary Hawaiian Properties.

Rick Murray has been appointed associate director of Safety and Security for Hawaii Pacific University. Murray will be responsible for the dayto-day security of the HPU downtown campus and the Windward Hawaii Loa campus. He previously served as security coordinator for the university.

Guy Matsumoto has been hired as an agent for State Farm Insurance. Matsumoto has 25 years’ experience working in the insurance industry and previously served as senior vice president for Atlas Insurance Agency. He will now provide a variety of State Farm insurance and financial products to meet customers’ needs.

Monica Fedri has been named assistant manager for Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa’s Tropics Bar & Grill. Fedri most recently served as assistant restaurant manager for the Village’s two Starbucks Coffee locations since May 2008. Prior to that, she worked as supervisor of Sherwood Ice Arena in Oregon.

Timothy L. Padgett has been appointed senior vice president and collections and recovery manager for Bank of Hawaii. Padgett has more than 30 years’ banking experience in collection, consumer lending and retail banking. His duties include managing the daily operations of collections and recovery for consumer and business banking products.

Cheryl Nishita has been named marketing director for Hawaii National Bank. She comes to the bank from AIG Hawaii Insurance Company. Prior to that, Nishita worked for First Hawaiian Bank for eight years. She began her banking career in 1987 at Northwest Financial.
