Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Steve Johnson has been named a member of the Hawaii Foodbank board of directors. Johnson will serve a three-year term on the board. He works as general manager for Kazi Restaurants of Hawaii, franchisee for Burger King and KFC restaurants.

Larry Ishii has been been appointed to the board of directors for the Hawaii Foodbank. Ishii is vice president of corporate banking for American Savings Bank and has more than 30 years of banking experience.

Eric Yamamoto has been promoted to operations consultant for McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii. In this position, his duties include leading, coaching and providing direction to the group of restaurants he oversees to improve operations and to maximize long-term sales growth and profitability. Yamamoto started his career in 1997 as a crew-person at McDonald’s of Manoa.

Steven Boyle has been hired as master designer and director of design for Current Affairs. Boyle will be responsible for the design of high-impact events through his use of florals, liners, lighting and sound as well as a complete array of entertainment. He most recently served as vice president of sales and marketing for White Lotus Productions in San Diego.

P. Gregory Frey has been elected president of the Saint Louis Alumni Association, working with eight other Saint Louis alumni on the SLAA Board. Frey, a 1979 graduate of the school, is managing attorney at Coates & Frey.

Sue Radcliffe has been appointed administrator for Hi’olani Care Center at Kahala Nui. Radcliffe oversees assisted living, memory support and comprehensive nursing. She received a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the University of Hawaii and a master’s degree from the University of Miami.
