Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Tony Au has been hired as executive vice president and chief production officer for Central Pacific Bank. He will be responsible for all of Central Pacific HomeLoans’ retail, wholesale and affiliate production statewide. Prior to joining CPHL, Au served as the wholesale market sales manager for Bank of America Home Loans and Countrywide Home Loans.

Jason Selley, project coordinator for WCIT Architecture, has been appointed to the U.S. Green Building Council board of directors, Hawaii chapter. For the last three years, Selley has spearheaded the firm’s sustainable efforts for environmentally responsible design solutions in a variety of project types, including hospitality, educational, commercial and medical facilities. He previously oversaw the sustainable development and LEED certification of the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Victor Brock has been named executive vice president and secondary market manager for Central Pacific Bank. Brock manages secondary marketing, investor relations, loan pricing and delivery as well as product management. With more than 20 years of experience in residential loan originations, he has been responsible for opening secondary marketing departments for several Hawaii mortgage companies, and previously served as senior vice president of the secondary market, as well as secondary marketing manager and wholesale account executive at other Hawaii mortgage companies.

Judy Bishop, owner and president of Bishop & Company, has been awarded the Organization of Women Leaders’leadership award for 2009. Bishop has been a member of OWL since 2001, and with more than 30 years’experience in temporary staffing and executive search, she has owned and operated her own company for more than two decades and has held senior management roles with one of the world’s largest staffing companies.

Michael Wong has been hired as an account executive for KHON2 News. He previously served as an account manager for VRE Hawaii, and also has worked as general sales manager for Salem Communications. Wong has more than 15 years of experience in sales.

Cherri Tuson has been named assistant business manager for KHON2 News. Tuson brings more than 20 years of accounting experience to the position and previously served as accounting manager for Chuck Latham Associates in Colorado. She is currently in the process of obtaining her CPA.

Steven Ohata has been appointed senior vice president and retail origination manager for Central Pacific Bank. Ohata oversees all retail mortgages originated on Oahu. He has more than 21 years of experience in the financial services industry, where he was an assistant vice president in the private services division at another Hawaii financial institution.

Shaun Moss has been named vice president for research and development at the Oceanic Institute. Moss also will serve as director of the U.S. Marine and Shrimp Farming program, an integrated multi-state research program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
