Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

David Wu has been appointed assistant superintendent for the Office of Information Technology Services and the depart-ment’s chief information officer for the state Department of Education. Wu brings more than 20 years of technology experience to the position, and prior to his appointment served as senior director of systems development for Hawaiian Airlines.

Andrea Hamilton has been named director of development for Sacred Hearts Academy. Hamilton will advise the board on all matters pertaining to fund development and oversee and coordinate the school’s ongoing fund development efforts.

Dion Dizon has been named chairwoman of the 2010 Ko Olina Taste at Kapolei by the Rotary Club of Kapolei. Dizon was inducted in November 2009 as a member of the Rotary club and is a professional events coordinator. She has organized wellness events, training seminars and educational workshops for small businesses.

Evan Fujimoto has been appointed president of Graham Builders. Fujimoto has been part of the company since 1993. With more than 20 years’experience in the construction industry, he now leads the company and oversees all daily operations.

Lorraine Nakasone has been named vice president of the employee benefits consulting practice for Servco Insurance Services. In this role, Nakasone will counsel clients on the development of overall benefits strategy, including design and implementation of benefits plans, among others.

Brodi Goshi has been inducted as president of the nonprofit group Filipino American Multi Ethnic Society. In this position, Goshi is responsible for helping to promote FAMES’ new mentor-ship program and increasing FAMES’exposure by teaming up with other organizations such as Hawaii Real Estate Investors, as well as companies like Million Dollar Dreams Television Network.
