Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Wayne Vieira has been named director of ticket sales for the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In this position, Vieira will be responsible for selling season tickets, group sales and Ahahui Koa Anuenue ticket packages for all UH Manoa Athletics ticketed events. He has experience in direct sales in Hawaii, and has worked with various companies including Wyndham Vacation Ownership, Holiday Promotions, Roberts Hawaii Tours and Hawaii Surf Sails, among others.

Kulia Pacheco Boerstler has been promoted to senior structural engineer for Baldridge & Associates Structural Engineering Inc. Boerstler joined the company in September 2009 as project manager, and she will now be responsible for project management, structural design and construction administration duties. She has more than eight years’ experience as a structural engineer.

Tom Tschudin has been appointed development manager of Kukui Gardens Mauka. He will be responsible for making significant improvements to the Kukui Gardens Mauka common areas, including upgraded landscaping, picnic areas with barbecue grills, resurfaced parking lot, new sidewalks and more.

Dana Barnum has been named development director for Hale Kipa. In this new position, she will implement and coordinate fundraising, marketing and public relations efforts. Barnum has more than 20 years of experience in the areas of organizational development, fundraising, project planning and public relations.

Jeffrey Boromisa, member of the Wolverine World Wide Inc. board of directors and audit committee chairman, has been appointed executive in residence in the College of Business Administration at Hawaii Pacific University. Boromisa will contribute his expertise to mentor students in the college regarding their career choices. He also will work with HPU to develop more internship opportunities.
