Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Heidi Jones has been named administrative assistant for Baldridge & Associates Structural Engineering Inc. Prior to joining BASE, Jones was employed by Starwood Vacation Ownership as a vacation services coordinator on Kauai. She also is a member of the Ko’olaupoko Lions Club and volunteers for organizations such as the Kailua Information Center.

Paul Amog has been appointed director of underwriting for Hawaii Dental Service. For the past 24 years, he served in a number of underwriting, sales and marketing positions with Delta Dental of California in San Francisco, an affiliate of HDS.

Franklin Clay has been promoted to account supervisor for Communications Pacific. Clay joined the company in 2007 and has more than six years of experience in Hawaii’s public relations industry. He previously served clients in the hotel, travel and tourism, and real estate industries. Since joining CommPac, he has provided media relations, corporate communications and event planning support for a wide range of clients.

Morgan Kaya has been named senior account executive for Communications Pacific. Kaya joined the company as an intern in 2005 and then in 2006 was hired on a full-time basis. She’s worked for several years in the company’s marketing services practice, where she was involved with many special event projects.

Shere’e Young has been hired as assistant account executive for Communications Pacific. Young joined the company as an intern in January and recently was hired as a full-time member of CommPac’s public relations practice, where she has been working with a variety of clients.

Nicole LaBerge has been promoted to senior account executive for Communications Pacific. LaBerge joined CommPac in 2008 after serving as an assistant program coordinator and information specialist at the Hawaii National Guard Youth Challenge Academy. Previously, she worked for McNeil Wilson Communications.

Niki Libarios has been named sales and event manager assistant for Current Affairs, an event planning and production company. Libarios is responsible for providing support to the company’s event managers as well as coordinating rentals and purchases for EventAccents and Spandex USA. She previously worked as associate director of Residence Life at Hawaii Pacific University.
