Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Peter M. Biggs has been promoted to vice chairman and chief retail banking officer at Bank of Hawaii. Biggs is now responsible for all aspects of retail banking.

Unyong Nakata has been promoted to director of development for Shidler College of Business at UH Manoa. Unyong will oversee all aspects of the development effort which includes annual giving, scholarships, and stewardship. Unyong obtained her B.S. in microbiology and an MBA from UH Manoa.

Sara Mostafa-Ray has been appointed as an associate at Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert law firms. Mostafa-Ray will be part of the firm’s Immigration and Naturalization and Business and Commercial Practice Groups.

Christopher J. Benjamin has been promoted to president of A&B Land Group. The Land Group includes A&B Properties and the company’s various agricultural businesses. Benjamin has recently served as the senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of A&B and general manager of Hawaiian Commercial and Sugar Company (HC&S).

June Nozoe has been appointed director of sales and marketing for Aqua Hotels Asia region. Nozoe represents Aqua’s entire portfolio to existing partners and will create new relationships with Asia.
