Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Alan S. Fujimoto, a partner at Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLP, was appointed secretary general of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA). Fujimoto will be responsible for the operations of the IPBA Secretariat and oversee its day to day operations.

David Striph has been appointed by the Howard Hughes Corporation to lead operations and development at Ward Centers. Striph will lead the planning, execution and management of the corporation’s strategic assets, Ward Centers and rights to develop a residential condominium tower over a parking structure at Ala Moana Center.

Tracy K. Packer has joined the Queen Lili’uokalani Trust as a manager for property management and administration. Packer will be responsible for management of the Trust’s developed portfolio and will support the land planning and entitlement team.

Jennifer Nakayama has been named director of operations for Hawaii Convention Center. Nakayama will oversee engineering, housekeeping, capital projects and security guest services. For the past five years Nakayama has directed 81 projects at SeaWorld San Diego. She has experience in master planning and corporate initiatives, solar and green power projects, water quality and company partnerships.

Avi Mannis has been appointed Hawaiian Airlines vice president of marketing. Mannis will oversee brand, loyalty, and product development activities, as well as the advertising, promotions, direct marketing and online experience. Before joining Hawaiian Airlines in 2007, he was at The Boston Consulting Group in New York City and Paris.
