Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Ann Botticelli will join Hawaiian Airlines as the company’s senior vice president for corporate communications and public affairs. Botticelli will leave her current position as vice president for community relations and communications at Kamehameha Schools Sept. 30. Prior to entering public relations, Botticelli spent two decades as a news reporter in Honolulu, covering business, consumer affairs and state government for KITV-4, KHONTV, The Honolulu Advertiser and MidWeek.

Dan Bower has been announced as general manager of The Plaza Club. Bower joined The Plaza Club as executive chef in 2009. In his new role, Bower will oversee day-today operations, leading and implementing strategic efforts on membership and special events at the recently renovated downtown Honolulu one-of-a-kind facility. As the club’s executive chef, he reinvented the dining menu, putting a fresh spin on island favorites and creating a new portfolio of culinary delights.

Andrew Lang has been promoted to vice president and retail brokerage division manager of investment services by Central Pacific Bank. Lang will implement and oversee the Investment Services Program and Bank initiatives. Lang also is responsible for ensuring satisfaction of regulatory and bank compliance and reporting requirements.

Cindy Gagle has been appointed by Benchmark Hospitality International as director of sales and marketing for Turtle Bay Resort. Gagle was previously regional director of sales and marketing for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, responsible for Kea Lani Resort Hotel on Maui and Orchid Hotel on the Big Island of Hawaii. She has served in sales positions throughout Bermuda, California and Hawaii, and garnering numerous sales awards for excellence and productivity throughout her career.
