Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Daniel Girlington has been named portfolio chief engineer for ABM in Hawaii. Girlington has been with the company for more than five years as a facilities manager in the Engineering Division.

Rachelle Tavares has been promoted to senior patient services representative for Hawaiian Eye Center in the Wahiawa location. Tavares joined Hawaiian Eye Center in 2009 as a patient services representative.

Dean Tasaki has been promoted to special events manager at Kualoa Ranch. Tasaki previously held the position of special events coordinator for two years, and prior to that he worked at MC&A Inc. as its events manager. Tasaki has more than 15 years of experience in the special events and destination management industry.

Kellan Anderson has been promoted to head golf professional at Hoakalei Country Club located in Ewa Beach. Anderson will oversee the day-to-day operations for the golf department, including managing staff and purchasing merchandise for the golf shop. A PGA professional since 2005, Anderson most recently served as assistant head golf professional at Hoakalei, where he helped create numerous golf events for members, including the Member’s Club Championship and Member Guest Championship.

Kenneth Keast has joined Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties as a part of its NATO (new agent training office). Keast was most recently a consultant/owner’s representative. He has a bachelor’s degree in international finance and economics and an MBA in finance. Keast relocated from Los Angeles, California to Oahu in 2003.

Ryan Horiuchi has been promoted by Accuity LLP to manager. Horiuchi has been with the firm form more than six years. As a certified public accountant with the state of Hawaii, Horiuchi works with a range of clients in the state and local government, hospitality, real estate and insurance industries. Horiuchi is a member of the Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and accounting information systems from the University of Southern California.
