Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

David Kennedy has been elected one of seven new members of the Manoa Valley Theatre board of directors. Kennedy is the senior vice president of marketing for the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Ron De Leon has been appointed general merchandising manager for City Mill Company Ltd. He will be part of the senior management team overseeing all aspects of the merchandising department, and will be responsible for planning, implementing and directing all merchandising policies. De Leon brings more than 30 years of experience from All American Home Center in California, where he started as a sales associate in the plumbing department. He worked his way through operations to become the store manager, and then transferred to the merchandising department as a buyer, and ultimately became the chief merchandising officer.

Ismael “Ish” Eustaquio has been promoted from West Oahu regional manager at Bank of Hawaii to senior vice president and in-store branch regional manager in the Hawaii Branch Division. Eustaquio will be responsible for the delivery of access, convenience and new customer acquisition for the 13 instore branches in the state of Hawaii.

Scott Nahme has been appointed by Central Pacific Bank as a vice president and senior commercial real estate lending officer. He has more than 25 years of lending experience in the Hawaii market, and 20 years of experience managing lending officers and underwriters.

Steve Pavao has been appointed board president of the Coalition for a TobaccoFree Hawaii (CTFH). A former smoker, Pavao is an avid runner, having participated in more than 30 marathons. Pavao also is executive director of the Brantley Center, providing services to the disabled community.
