Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Randy P. Perreira was announced by Hawaii Medical Service Association as the newest member of its community board of directors. Perreira is executive director of Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA), AFSCME Local 152, AFL-CIO. HGEA represents approximately 43,000 active and retired workers in state and county governments in Hawaii. Perreira began his career at HGEA in 1983. In addition, he serves as president of the Hawaii AFL-CIO.

Patti Cristobal has been appointed vice president and community banking sales manager at Central Pacific Bank. Cristobal has more than 18 years of banking experience primarily in branch channel ing key leadership positions such as customer service manager, training and development coordinator, private banking officer and branch manager.

Mahela Ichinose has been appointed Waikiki Parc Hotel’s food and beverage manager. Ichinose will be responsible for its breakfast service, in-room dining, as well as special events such as Parc’s weekly Chic Wine Mixers. Ichinose was formerly general manager of Joy Square Sports Bar, restaurant manager of The Willows restaurant, and catering manager for Kaka’ako Kitchen. Most recently she worked in Hale Koa Hotel’s human resources department as a training specialist.

Alan Ito has been appointed Hawaii Health Systems Corporation’s chief information officer. Ito has more than 30 years of experience in the health care information technology industry, having worked in hospitals and health technology consulting firms. Previously, Ito served as project director for Hawaii Pacific Regional Extension Center, where he was responsible for a federally funded program to assist physicians and hospitals in Hawaii and throughout the U.S.
