Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Francine N. Taba has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of Bank of Hawaii. She will also be responsible for trust administration manager duties. Taba joined the company in 1998. She has 20 years of financial services experience.

Gregg T. Hirata has joined Bank of Hawaii as vice president and primary relationship officer for the Hawaii Island Commercial Banking Center. Hirata will manage a portfolio of corporate banking relationships.

Gayle S. Tasaka has joined Bank of Hawaii as vice president and senior tax consultant of the trust tax department. Tasaka will be responsible for providing clients with income and estate tax compliance and planning.

Itaat Husain has joined Hawaii Wealth Management. He previously worked at Smith Barney. He has more than seven years of investment experience.

Cecilia McMoore has been appointed to commercial card officer for First Hawaiian Bank. McMoore joined the firm in 2004 as a senior card analyst.

Christine M. Harauchi has been appointed officer of PC and network services for First Hawaiian Bank. Harauchi joined First Hawaiian in 1998.

William “Buddy” Moore has been hired by Sub-Zero/Wolf as territory manager. He will be responsible for overseeing retail sales on all islands.

Elliot Mills has been promoted to general manager of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach. He previously served as the firm’s director of operations for the Outrigger Reef.

Jim Heather has been appointed general manager of the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. He previously worked as general manager of the Outrigger Kanaloa at Kona on the Big Island.

Derrick Ota has been named executive vice president at OMK Investments. He is responsible for structuring and negotiating agreements to buy real estate in distressed situations.

Emy Alvarez has joined Prudential Locations as a real estate agent. Alvarez has more than 16 years of experience in the California real estate industry.

Ken Chijimatsu has been promoted to service sales manager from sales service engineer for Heide & Cook. He will be responsible for managing all the sales engineers as well as preparing new proposals.

Tina L. Colman has been named an associate for Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing. She has more than 10 years of experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.

Mark C. Hornor has been named an associate for Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing. He previously worked as general counsel to a United Kingdombased emerging growth renewable energy technology company and represented entertainment for services companies in Los Angeles.
