Garry Neavitt has joined Peter Vincent and Associates as a senior project manager. He has more than 20 years of experience in a full range of architectural services, from design to construction management.

Lois Asato

Lois Asato has been named communication and marketing director for Executive Women International. She is the sales manager for the Hawaii Convention Center.

Mason L. M. Yoshiyama

Mason L. M. Yoshiyama has been promoted to loan officer of real estate residential loans for First Hawaiian Bank. He joined the company in 2002 as a loan representative.

John W. Landgraf

John W. Landgraf was honored with the Mauka Makai Award from the Friends of the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii. He recently retired as executive vice president of First Hawaiian Bank. Landgraf served as Friends’ president for the past seven years.

Darren Yasui

Darren Yasui has been named general manager for Romano’s Macaroni Grill. He previously worked at Waialae Country Club.

Sharon Shimizu

Sharon Shimizu has been named regional communications coordinator for the Starwood Hotels and Resorts Hawaii. Shimizu previously served as Asia sales manager, responsible for selling the Sheraton Hotels.

Aaron A. Akau

Aaron A. Akau has been promoted to vice president and director of landscape architecture for Belt Collins Hawaii. Akau will be responsible for managing the day-today operations of the Belt Collins Hawaii landscape department.

Alan Y. Fujimori

Alan Y. Fujimori also has joined Belt Collins Hawaii as a principal planner and landscape architect. He previously served as vice president and chief planner for R.M. Towill Corporation.

Laurice Otsuka

Laurice Otsuka has joined American Savings Bank as a vice president and commercial banking officer. Otsuka previously served as a vice president and business banking officer at Home Street Bank.

Lisa Sanchez-Johnsen

Lisa Sanchez-Johnsen has received a presidential Latina leadership citation for students and early career psychologists from the American Psychological Association. She is an assistant professor in the prevention and control program of the Cancer Research Center of Hawaii.

Norman Asao

Norman Asao has been named executive chef of Mid-Pacific Country Club. He previously worked at the Honolulu Country Club.
