Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Alex Kirley has been elected president for 2005 of the Hawaii Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association. Kirley is director of group sales for Ruth’s Chris Steak Houses in Hawaii.

Don Wakeman has been named president and CEO of ProSERVICE Hawai’i. He will oversee the 4,000 client employees on the Big Island, Maui, Kauai and Oahu.

Gregg Omori has been named marketing representative at Xerox Hawaii. while Omori’s territory covers Mapunapuna, Salt Lake, Halawa and Aiea.

Beau Labez-Tapang has been named marketing representative at Xerox Hawaii. Labez- Tapang’s service territory includes the Kalihi area.

Leburta Gates Atherton received the Laura N. Dowsett Award from the Junior League of Honolulu for being a role model of the ideals of JLH.

Marcie Purdy received the Provisional Award from the Junior League of Honolulu. She is president of Panhellenic Hawaii (Soroptimists International).

Cheryl Hetherington received the active award from the Junior League of Honolulu. Hetherington sits on the board of PBS Hawaii.

Monica Cuervo has been promoted to senior associate for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. Cuervo joined WATG in 1993 as project staffing coordinator for architecture and interiors.

Brett Tomer has been promoted to senior associate for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. Tomer joined WATG in 1997. He has more than 20 years of professional experience.

Rhonda Rasmussen has been promoted to senior associate for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. Rasmussen joined WATG in 2004.

Jean Dusek Klueter has been promoted to senior associate for Wimberly Allison Tong & Goo. Klueter joined WATG in Newport in 1990.

Shane Webley has been named project manager for RCI Pacific Division in the Hawaii regional housing PPV project, which is owned by Hawaii Military Communities.

Lisa Kobs has been promoted from assistant general manager to general manager of Auntie Pasto’s.

Jennifer Adkins has been promoted from assistant general manager to general manager at Dixie Grill at Ward Avenue.

Clem Lagundimao has been named general manager of the Aston at the Executive Centre Hotel in downtown Honolulu. Lagundimao has most recently served as general manager of the Aston Coconut Plaza Hotel. Lagundimao has more than 22 years of hospitality experience.
