Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Benson Choo has been promoted to vice president and information protection manager for Finance Factors. He will be responsible for information security, and business initiatives. He is a certified information systems auditor.

Lori McCarney joins Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties as senior vice president of operations. McCarney previously served as executive vice president and director of retail lending and marketing for Bank of Hawaii.

Marti Hazzard has been designated as previews property specialist for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. Hazzard has been in the real estate market for 30 years- buying, selling, building, and remodeling her own properties. She joined CBPP in 2003.

Karyl W. Fujii has been designated as previews property specialists for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. Before joining CBPP in 2002, Fujii was a real estate and hospitality consultant for KPMG.

Cliff Colvin has been designated as previews property specialists for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. Colvin has more than 20 years of real estate experience.

Gerard Akaka has been named a director of the Hawaii chapter board of the American Liver Foundation. He is an internist and medical director of the Queen Emma Clinics.

Lee Moriwaki has been named a director of the Hawaii chapter board of the American Liver Foundation. Moriwaki is executive vice president of operations at Bank of Hawaii.

Rod Moriyama has been named a director of the Hawaii chapter board of the American Liver Foundation. Moriyama is the assistant superintendent of the office information technology services with the state department of education.
