Business Leaders On The Move In Hawaii

Richard Quinn has been promoted to the position of principal of Helber Hastert & Fee, Planners. He is a landscape architect and planner with a comprehensive background in resort landscape design and project management.

Livingston Takane has joined Smith Barney as a financial adviser. He previously worked as a senior sales manager at the Renaissance Ilikai. His employment history includes working in Tokyo at Konica Corporation.

Bonnie Osaki has earned the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation. She is the sales manager for Graham Builders.

Jodi Kawahara has been promoted to senior human resources manager for employment for Sheraton Hotels and Resorts. She will oversee hotel recruitment and be responsible for developing hiring strategies for Sheraton Waikiki, The Royal Hawaiian, Sheraton Moana Surfrider and Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotels.

Nina LaMonte has been named group publisher for Morris Visitor Publications. She will oversee publications for the Hawaii region, including Guest Informant, Quick Guide, Dining In Paradise, Living In Paradise, Wailea, Shops at Wailea and Honolulu Nightlife.

Agnelle Ching has been elected chair of board of directors of Our Lady of Kea’au. She is the chief executive officer of St. Francis Healthcare System.

Bill Paik is the president of the Building Industry Association of Hawaii for 2007. Paik is vice president of business development, sales and marketing of Grace Pacific Corporation.

Kelly Sanders has been appointed general manager of the Sheraton Waikiki. Sanders was previously the general manager of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. Sanders joined Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide Inc. in 1996 as director of rooms at the Westin Horton Plaza. He began his career in the service industry in 1988 as an office manager for Doubletree Hotels & Resorts in Salt Lake City Utah. He was promoted to hotel manager of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in 1998.
