Dear Pamela,

The saying “Angels are among us” really came true for me. I met a whole bunch of “angels” at the Outpatient Surgical Center at Kaiser Moanalua Hospital. I had surgery, and the care and treatment I received at the Outpatient Surgical Center were outstanding.

If ever I need surgery again, I will not hesitate because I know I will be treated well. Thank you to all the people who were involved with my surgery.

Dear Allan,

“We have an exceptional group in our Outpatient Surgery Center at Moanalua Medical Center, and I am happy they are being recognized,” says Janet Liang, Hawaii Region president of Kaiser Permanente.

“Our more than 410 physicians and 4,400 employees are always very touched when they see such lovely letters about the care they have provided. This wonderful comment about your experience with us warms our hearts.”

three star

Hi Pamela!

I want to applaud some teenage boys in Ewa Beach. I was walking my dog this afternoon and one of the townhouses we walked past had its back gate open. The dog that lives there ran out and started chasing me and my dog. Good thing for me, those three teenagers just happened to be walking nearby. They got between the other dog and mine and chased it back to its home, also letting the people at that home know about their dog running loose. I called out “thank you” to them as I ran away, but I was too nervous to stick around to get their names.

Their parents can be proud that they have raised such fine young men who came to the aid of an old woman in distress. Thank you again!

Dear Barbara,

“There’s a a lot of community pride,” says Alton Kinoshita, vice principal of Campbell High School. “It’s a shame when negative things are brought to light, but we have a lot of positive things happening not only in school but in the neighborhood. Our students are getting a lot of recognition for their academics and community spirit.”
