President for Team Clean Inc.

I am proud to have been born and raised in Hawaii and to be a leader in a company that values doing business with aloha at the forefront.

As a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools, I have continued to infuse and cultivate the Hawaiian culture into my leadership style at Team Clean.

I began my career with Team Clean in 1999 after working in the hospitality industry. I found Team Clean very attractive as it is a niche market enterprise focused on doing business with aloha, being customer-focused and providing quality cleaning.

Team Clean’s business culture embraces the diversity of local cultures while incorporating traditional business sense.

I believe our success as a company in Hawaii comes from our focus on three core values: aloha, ho’okipa and ha’aha’a.

To me, aloha expresses that special feeling of providing the highest level of service and caring toward others while being inclusive and welcoming to everyone.

With aloha, a company not only serves but cares for their customers and patrons like friends and family.

Ho’okipa expresses the way we serve our clients and guests. It’s important to be sincere and hospitable. Ho’okipa is a way of living that flows naturally from all of us who have embraced Hawaii’s culture. Team Clean is a business that cares for and makes it possible for other businesses to entertain and share ho’okipa with their clients and guests. Whether at the airport, hotels, shopping malls - Team Clean helps to create the clean and welcoming environment that we all enjoy, both kama’aina and visitors alike.

Ha’aha’a is the expression of humility that provides the catalyst for business to provide the best service or make the best products. By being humble in our work and business, we seek the opportunities to exceed expectations of our customers, clients and stakeholders. We serve others without expectation. It’s a simple concept that works for us.

I am honored and appreciative to work with Craig Parkin, founder and owner of Team Clean. Craig has been a strong mentor who has instilled in me the confidence to work hard and believe you can achieve successful results.

In business, I see my role as motivating my team members to aim high, strive to be the best and exceed the expectations of our clients and their customers. Motivating others by instilling the concepts of aloha, ho’okipa and ha’aha’a builds confidence and character to reach higher and to accomplish the task at hand.

Our team members are an integral part of our success. Their jobs are important and we share a common goal to deliver the highest quality of service in the state of Hawaii.

Having a sense of place - it’s something we who live in Hawaii can use to our advantage.

After all, we live in the most beautiful place in the world, and it’s our responsibility to be good stewards of our culture, our community and our business.
