When I became CEO of 7-Eleven Hawaii I wanted to inspire our team to think big about the future. 7-Eleven is already a Hawaii favorite with our well-known brands such as Slurpee, Big Gulp and Big Bite Hot Dogs, as well as a full range of our “made fresh daily” local foods including sushi, musubi, bento and deli sandwiches

To expand on this success, a dream came to life to bring our fresh foods and convenient, friendly service to more neighborhoods across the state. Over the next five years we are planning to nearly double our number of stores from 55 to 100.

The first step of this expansion plan was the opening of our new Beachwalk location May 25 in the Bank of Hawaii Waikiki Center. This is our first store in the heart of the bustling tourist community. We wanted to provide a central location for visitors and locals to access our special brand of Hawaii favorites along with all of the conveniences of 7-Eleven nationwide. The new Beachwalk store features a resort theme that extends our customers’ experience from their day on the beach to purchasing a beverage or a signature Spam musubi. It also features a customized product offering of fresh food, non-food and souvenir items that will meet the needs of the Waikiki market.

Building on this exciting plan, our next location will open soon in the heart of Honolulu on Bishop Street. Our goal is to meet the needs of the busy downtown customer with the quick service and convenience 7-Eleven is known for across our state.

Each location added will be designed for the community that it serves, offering specialty foods and a unique product assortment. As we grow, we’ll also expand our work force to match, creating approximately 800 jobs across the state.

7-Eleven Hawaii also plays an active role in helping our friends and neighbors in need. Our in-store canister collections and charity events provide a unique way of giving back

Stop in to see us, “we’re always open.”
