Just mention Seor Frog’s to anyone who has come to any of our 14 locations in the world, and people’s eyes light up with a rascal twinkle and their mouths break into a mischievous grin.

As general manager of the very first Seor Frog’s in Hawaii, and only the second in the U.S., that makes me smile, too. Our philosophy is simple: “Have fun. Let yourself go. Throw caution to the wind. Do something daring. Expect the unexpected!”

Owned by Cancun-based Grupo Anderson, Seor Frog’s is known as a place “where anything can happen,” and when our guests leave telling us it was the most fun night they’ve had, we know we’ve done our job well - and that takes a lot of hard work on the part of my managers and staff. But, honestly, they love what they do, and that really is the key to our success.

Here in Hawaii, at the newly renovated Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, we have our biggest location in the world that will serve as the prototype for all future locations. We have three bars and various areas where you can hang out - be it the bar with the swinging lifesaver seats, or al fresco on our two lanais overlooking the streets of Waikiki below, or table seating for two, a family, or a huge gang of friends. You are sure to find a spot that’s perfect for whatever you’re up to, and take in the bright, whimsical beach dcor. The staff never stops amusing you while providing great service as you enjoy awesome music, karaoke, energetic MCs, DJs, live bands and fun contests for the entire family.

In addition to all the fun, there’s also food - great food! Our menu includes appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, seafood, beef and chicken entrees, barbecue, a Mexican menu and even a “Hawaiian-Mex” menu with items like Kalua Pork Quesadilla and a Hawaiian Burger.

Since our opening in August, Seor Frog’s Hawaii has already hosted several small and large private events as well, ranging from a press conference with Mayor Mufi Hannemann to a buyout by a local company to a bridal shower and “Sweet 16” birthday party.

And speaking of parties, Seor Frog’s Hawaii has weekly events such as our Pau Hana Happy Hour specials from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday - with live Hawaiian music on Aloha Fridays, Latin Rhythm Night every Sunday from 9 p.m. with a live Salsa band, a Beach Party every Tuesday 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., and Cancun Thursday Nights from 9 p.m.

And we don’t just party after the sun goes down either. We have a Kid’s Party every Sunday from 4 p.m. with a clown, bouncing castle, balloon sculptures, games and prizes, and a special keiki menu. Also on Sunday during football season, we open at 7 a.m. and feature a $13 Breakfast Buffet and all the football you want on 15 TVs and a giant screen.

We are also proud to be able to give back to the community we now call home. Our grand opening in August was a fundraiser for Hawaii Meals On Wheels, and we will continue our commitment to the community throughout the year.

For those who can’t get enough of Seor Frog’s, we also opened a logo retail shop on the first floor of the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.

We’re a business based on serious fun!
