For 115 years, Palolo Chinese Home has been providing care and shelter to Hawaii’s elderly community. Open to all gender, race and ethnicity, Palolo Chinese Home strives to provide a continuum of long-term care services in a culturally sensitive setting on its 15-acre campus. Recently Palolo Chinese Home has expanded its services beyond its campus to seniors living in their homes.

Today, the elderly are more independent. They want to remain in their homes for as long as possible, and at Palolo Chinese Home we want to help them do that.

Research indicated that the elderly need some basic day-to-day services to ensure a safe and clean environment, as well as some of the more complex medical services, and they want it all in the comfort of their own homes.

With our history and experience in serving Hawaii’s seniors, Palolo Chinese Home is in an ideal position to provide these in-home services.

Home cleaning is one services Palolo Chinese Home provides. For as little as $30, residents age 65 years or older (and whose annual income is less than $24,000) can have their home cleaned by Palolo Chinese Home.

Our professional staff will visit your home, evaluate your cleaning needs, and perform the work under our supervision and with our full security. It’s all possible, thanks to a limited amount of grant funds provided by the Hawaii Community Foundation.

Since its inception in 1897, Palolo Chinese Home’s mission is to serve the elderly community. Home cleaning is one of that mission and meeting the changing needs of the elderly. Other in-home services provided by Palolo Chinese Home include meal delivery, safety and health assessments, and doctor house calls to home-bound seniors, among others. For more information please call 737-2555.

Correction: The proper spelling of Hale Ho Aloha’s parent company is Itabashi Medical Group. It was misspelled in last week’s Business Roundtable.
