At some point during our lives we all share one common thought: to own our own business. For some, this may be nothing more than a passing thought. For others, it is a dream. For many, it is a reality.

We have all heard of or maybe even know people who have great success in entrepreneurship because they possessed the right combination of desire coupled with a great opportunity. The driving force for being your own boss may be any number of things: the desire to improve your lifestyle, the confidence to know you can do what others are doing but better, or perhaps there has been a change in your life compelling you to control your own destiny.

As we are all challenged by the current economic climate, I am working daily with people who have decided to become their own boss, and they are making their dreams a reality. Whether you’ve been downsized, laid off, been subject to a wage freeze or simply had a bad day at work and have said “enough is enough,” then you are part of a growing trend and share a common bond with most of our franchise owners.

With the opportunities available today, particularly at Stratus Building Solutions, there should be very little reason for people feel they have no options. Stratus is a national commercial cleaning franchise currently operating in 30 markets with more than 1,700 unit franchisees. We work closely with our franchise owners by providing comprehensive training programs, administration, marketing and operational support and guaranteed accounts. Individuals from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds have realized their dreams of business ownership through Stratus. We have a proven track record of success and share in the joy experienced by our franchise owners as their businesses continue to grow.

When evaluating what options may be available to you, it is important to consider many factors. What kind of return can I expect for my investment? Is this work I can do? Can I grow this business around my current schedule? How will the economy affect my business? How quickly can I grow my business? What type of support and training will be available to me?

Having been born and raised here in Hawaii, I asked the same questions and came to a decision that has changed my life and my family’s. I became a “Master” franchise owner with Stratus Building Solutions. They have provided me with the industry-leading, proven program that is profitable and thriving in these trying economic times.

In turn, I can do the same for you.

My background in sales and marketing in concert with the opportunities available with Stratus Building Solutions have brought me to where I am today. I want to take my experiences and passion and help others enjoy the satisfaction and pride of owning their own business. I would encourage anyone who is contemplating owning their own business and who has the desire to take control of their own destiny to investigate the Stratus opportunity.

Sometimes opportunity is directly in front of you, but first you have to be able to see it and then take action to truly reach your vision of success.
