One of the most popular New Year’s resolutions is the vow to live a healthier life. As with most New Year’s resolutions, this one is often forgotten by early February ... of the same year.

Hawaii Athletic Club is the only health facility in the state to offer unlimited personal training memberships. There are too many personal trainers out there today who are unqualified, but are skilled in impersonating a personal trainer. Because the largest population growth is our seniors, and many of us lead sedentary lives, unqualified and unproven personal trainers are becoming more prevalent as they prey upon those who have discretionary income and who are financially secure.

Our clients are with Hawaii Athletic Club because they get results, that’s the bottom line. And we become friends because of that. We don’t befriend our clients based on their personal income and make them think they need a personal trainer in order to be in shape. The sport of resistance training is not rocket science. It’s easy to learn and the health benefits are huge.

Currently, Hawaii Athletic Club is offering unlimited personal training for only $250 per month. That is equivalent to only four or five training sessions at other health clubs or gyms.

At Hawaii Athletic Club, you get up to 25 sessions per month plus full access to the club for aerobics, yoga, group cycling and martial arts classes, and access to the cardiovascular area and locker rooms complete with amenities.

Management believes that the more opportunities members get to exercise and be in a healthy environment, the greater improvement they will make toward reaching their personal goals. They also believe that a clean facility and a non-intimidating atmosphere are conducive to learning and improving because you have to want to look forward to exercising every day. If not, it becomes too much like work and it won’t become part of your lifestyle.

Hawaii Athletic Club also offers unsupervised regular standard memberships. These memberships cost between $40 and $60 per month. Corporate rates also are available for qualifying companies of three employees or more.
