Rick, glad to see a conservative perspective in Hawaii.  Can’t imagine how raising taxes on people will help our economy - they will just spend less.

Lower taxes let people spend more, since they have more, and in turn, the government gets more as people spend.

I hope Gov Lingle can succeed in keeping our taxes from going up when what we need is relief!
