I have a lot of interaction with the patients. On the day of admissions, I speak with the patients to get their food preferences and explain the menu and types of food we have at REHAB. Patients get to choose their menus every day. Patients don’t have a lot of control over their medications or therapies, so choosing what they eat is one of the few things they have control over.

So I began my journey by volunteering seven years at St. Francis Hospital Dental Center.
