Anteprima Plastiq, the world-renowned Italian brand created by Izumi Ogino, opened its first U.S. flagship store at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center in Waikiki. The boutique offers its seasonal collections of ready to wear, handbags, shoes and costume jewelry.

Izumi Ogino created Anteprima in the early 1990s, and its signature style is recognized worldwide for use of quality materials featuring subtle designs made with meticulous care and refined details. Plastiq, one of Anteprima’s creations, made its debut in 1988 and quickly became popular for its hint of playfulness within the realm of sophistication.

And Anteprima Plastiq’s world-renowned Wire Bag (pictured at left) is made with an exclusive PVC cord manufactured in Italy. The cord is transported to China where each bag is hand sewn, and with each worker producing only one bag per day. Items range from $33 for accessories up to $1,218 for a wire bag.

At the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, Anteprima Plastiq is located in the retail arcade of Building B near the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. For more information, call 924-0808.
