Project Runway Stars At Ala Moana Center
Season 8 Project Runway contestants Andy South, Casanova, Christopher Collins, Michael Drummond and Mondo Guerra will reunite in Hawaii at Ala Moana Center April 23 to showcase their latest designs and talk about the inspiration behind their collections. The event takes place at Centerstage from noon to 12:45 p.m.
These Project Runway Season 8 contestants have remained friends since the show’s finale, and have each gone on to successfully launch their own projects. Hawaii native Andy South recently premiered his collection, SOUTH by Andy South at Ala Moana Center’s Shop a Le’a. Casanova is working on expanding his designs internationally. Christopher Collins started his own self-titled collection described as an upscale line created with the modern day woman in mind and is intended to make women “feel beautiful, fresh, natural and new.” Michael Drummond’s line, The Exquisite Corpse, is a contemporary, eco-friendly women’s line. Mondo Guerra, who was one of the final three contestants with South, has continued to pursue a career as a fashion designer while also advocating for HIV and AIDS awareness, which he opened up about during his appearance on Project Runway.

Bath & Body Works Opens At Ala Moana
Bath & Body Works opens its first Hawaii store May 2 at Ala Moana Center. The store will carry its Signature Collection of body care products in a scent for every personality and mood including shower gels, body lotions and eau de toilettes.
Also available will be its Anti-Bacterial Collection which includes its popular Deep Cleansing and Gentle Foaming Hand Soaps for bath and kitchen and pocket-sized
PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gels; as well as its Home Fragrance Collection which consists of a variety of products to transform your home into a relaxing and refreshing sanctuary with candles, room sprays and plug-ins.
