Black Friday At Kahala Mall
For the first time ever in recent Kahala Mall history, Macy’s will open at midnight Nov. 24 followed by more than 40 stores opening at 7 a.m. Nov. 25 to offer shoppers steep discounts of up to 70 percent off. Also, guests who purchase $125 or more in same-day receipts (starting at 7 a.m. Nov. 25) will receive a $10 Kahala Mall gift certificate and breakfast items from Whole Foods Market and Starbucks Coffee in Center Court. There also will be prize giveaways every three hours at Center Court, including a two-night/three-day staycation at The Kahala Hotel & Resort, a $200 shopping spree at Kahala Mall, dinner for two at Hoku’s restaurant, and a family move gift pack from Consolidated’s Kahala 8 Theatres (must be present to win). Entertainment will be provided by Ka Hale I ‘o Kahala hula halau at noon, Lehua Kalima at 1:30 p.m., Harold Uchino Ukulele at 3 p.m. and John Cruz at 5 p.m.
Some of the Black Friday specials are 40 percent off the entire store at Adore from 7 to 9 p.m.; 40 percent off the entire store at Banana Republic from 7 a.m. to noon; 30 percent off the entire store at Calista from 7 to 9 a.m.; 30 percent off the entire store at Gymboree from 7 a.m. to noon, and more.

Pearlridge Holiday Happenings
For the first time ever, Pearlridge Center kicks off the holiday shopping season with a Thanksgiving night celebration outside of Toys “R” Us Nov. 24 from 7 to 10 p.m. immediately before the store opens. There will be family-friendly activities, including prizes, games, music, goody bags and an appearance by Santa Claus.
Pearlridge Center opens at 6 a.m. Nov. 25, but select merchants will open their doors even earlier, including:
