Cherished Heritage on April 14

The Chinese Women’s Club of Honolulu presents Cherished Heritage, a scholarship and welfare fundraiser fashion show featuring the 2007 collection of designers Takeo and Eric Eugene Kamakahia’ai Chandler of 2Couture (modeled here by Miss Hawaii USA Chanel Wise), on Saturday, April 14 at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel.

Also on stage will be creations by designers Alan Carrell and Ron Kayano, whom Takeo discovered during the F.A.C.E. of Nuuanu fashion event last fall.

The event will also honor international actress Nancy Kwan, who will model a gown by Takeo.

A silent auction is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the fashion show luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. Tickets to the event is $55 and available by calling Violet Tam at 737-9046.

Fashionista’s Market 4/14, 4/15

Mark your calendar! Fashionista’s Market has scheduled its next big designer sample sale on Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15, at the Japanese Cultural Center (2454 S. Beretania St.) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $3 for FM members and $7 for the general public.
