T&C Surf’s Go Big! Event At Ala Moana

T&C Surf kicks off the 2010 Turbo Bodyboards Pipe Pro with its 13th annual Go Big! Bodyboarding Blowout event at Ala Moana Center (Center Stage) Feb. 13 from noon to 2 p.m.

More than a dozen top-ranked bodyboarding pros, including nine-time world champion Mike Stewart and reigning U.S. Bodyboarding Association world champion Jeff Hubbard, will be there to meet fans and sign autographs. Former titleholders Ben Player, Guilherme Tamega, Andrew Botha and Damien King also are expected to attend. Radio deejay Brudduh Brian from 102.7 Da Bomb also will be on stage giving away body-boards, and tossing out fins, leashes, board bags and more. Fans also will have the chance to compete for prizes in a series of “off-the-wall” games, such as Stack the Wax (pictured at right) in which the contestant who stacks their wax the highest wins, and another game (pictured below) where the contestants have to kick a ball into a goal before opponents can while looking through a cone the entire time.
