Each mochi set comes complete with a tangerine biscuit, good luck paper and directions to display and feed to your dog on New Year’s Day! Available by order only. Call 521-7297 or stop in the store and make sure your dog has health, happiness and lots of tummy rubs. ($12 per set, pick up Dec. 29 through Jan. 1.) Sushi biscuits also available in sets of six, wrapped in a bento box.
Ala Moana Center Offers New and Extended Hours In 2007
Ala Moana Center will be introducing new and extended mall hours to take effect Jan. 1, 2007. The change, mainly impacting the center’s Friday and Saturday operating hours, will provide customers with more shopping convenience – ranging from one to two-and-a-half hours of additional shopping time. Ala Moana Center’s new hours will be as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (mall closes one hour later)
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (mall opens one-and-a half hours earlier and closes one hour later)
Sunday:10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Ala Moana Center Rings in the New Year with Fukubukuro
Ala Moana Center is helping shoppers kick off 2007 with Fukubukuro, a Japanese tradition put on by retailers to reward their customers in the New Year. On Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, a variety of Ala Moana Center stores will take part in this unique custom by offering “happy grab bags” featuring a “surprise” product or variety of merchandise – guaranteed at retail value to be worth at least twice the price paid for each bag.
A limited number of Fukubukuro bags will be available for sale at participating merchants – one day only. Participating retailers are Animation Magic, Artlines, Baccarat, Bally, Betsey Johnson, Burberry, Celine, Claire’s, Crabtree & Evelyn, Diesel USA, Fendi, Folli Follie, Hawaiian Quilt Collection, LeSportsac, Locals Only, Lupicia Fresh Tea, Max & Co., Origins, Pacific Harley-Davidson, Prada, Prada Donna, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sandal Tree, Sephora, Shanghai Tang, The Compleat Kitchen and Thinker Toys.
Ala Moana Center hours run from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 1. Some restaurant and department store hours may vary.
