Duke’s Waikiki Releases New Legacy of Aloha Tee

New Legacy of Aloha Tee

Duke’s Waikiki has announced a new charitable donation program with a purpose to leave a legacy - the Legacy of Aloha. The program will raise funds for non-profit organizations in Hawaii through the sale of an annual commemorative Legacy of Aloha T-shirt available now at Duke’s Waikiki.

Once a year, Duke’s Waikiki will celebrate its anniversary by donating $10 of each T-shirt sold during the prior fiscal year to organizations that Duke Kahanamoku would have supported in his day.

Organizations include water-sport related or canoe organizations, ocean and water environmentalist groups, the Beach Boys, youth and elderly organizations, and other cultural organizations within Hawaii community. Organizations may submit an application form to be considered for donations.

Legacy of Aloha T-shirts retail for $21. Each year the design will change to reflect a new legacy.

Duke’s Waikiki is located in the Outrigger Waikiki Hotel (2335 Kalakaua Ave.). Validated parking is available at the Ohana East hotel (2375 Kuhio Ave.). For more information or to apply for donation consideration, call Duke’s Waikiki at 922-2268.
