Kahala Mall has partnered with Fashion With a Cause to host a fundraiser for the Elissa Josephsohn Spirit Fund at Kapiolani Women’s Center, which helps to educate women on combating ovarian cancer and to provide massage, spa, entertainment and other quality-of-life services to its patients undergoing cancer treatment.

The fundraiser takes place Aug. 14 from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at Consolidated’s Kahala Theatres. Inspired by the bestseller Eat Pray Love and soon-to-be-released film starring Julia Roberts, the event begins with coffee, gelato, wine, chocolates, a dessert bar and door prizes. Guests will then be entertained by the musical stylings of Emi Hart and the exotic dance moves of Willow Chang, followed at 1:45 p.m. by a screening of the film Eat Pray Love. Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased at any of the following Kahala Mall boutiques: Adore, Calista, The Compleat Kitchen, In My Closet, Ohelo Road, SoHa Living, Therapy Boutique. Seating is limited to 350 attendees.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Elissa Josephsohn Spirit Fund at Kapiolani Women’s Center. Kahala Mall worked closely with Lisa on many of her entertainment projects, most recently, Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy and the musical MAMMA MIA! She died last August of primary peritoneal cancer at the age of 60.

For those who cannot attend the fundraiser but wish to lend their support, donations can be sent directly to: Elissa Josephsohn Spirit Fund, Kapiolani Health Foundation, 55 Merchant St. Suite 2600, Honolulu, HI 96813.
