Hawaii Fashion And Beauty Expo

The Hawaii Fashion and Beauty Expo takes place March 25-27 at Neal S. Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall featuring a variety of fashion and beauty shows, and seminars.
There also will be two exclusive competitions, Operation Runway, a fashion design contest featuring aspiring local designers who will be constructing pieces live, and Hawaii’s Top Model Search with top local fashion models competing on the runway and in a live photo shoot.
Some of the industry’s leading professionals will be on hand to share their expertise. Seminars include Fashion by Lyndzi Trang, Makeup by Liz Dahl, Hair by Richie Miao, Cosmetics by Dr. Gregory Herbich, and Health and Fitness by Matt and Alicia Jones.
There also will be entertainment by Hypersquad Dance Co. (Saturday at 7 p.m.) and local DJs spinning throughout the weekend. Clear Channel Radio also will be there with a Jackpot machine giving away prizes Sunday from noon to 3 p.m., and at the entrance to the expo will be a gallery featuring work by designers Harold Julian and Andy South.
Expo hours are Friday from 4 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $7, free for children age 5 and under.
