Retailers in New York City and across the country will be participating in the evening extravaganza by creating engaging and entertaining incentives to inspire customers and reinvigorate the economy and fashion industry.

To support Fashion’s Night Out, Nordstrom at Ala Moana Center will host an evening celebrating all things fashionable Sept. 10 from 5 to 9 p.m. Guests will enjoy specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, live entertainment and informal modeling of the fall 2009 collections. Also, customers can purchase Fashion’s Night Out T-shirts at Nordstrom stores and online at www.nordstrom.com. The T-shirts will sell for $30 with 40 percent of the proceeds benefitting the creation of the National September 11 Memorial and Museum at the World Trade Center.
