“Think Green, Live Green” is the theme of a promotion at Cottage by the Sea at Ward Warehouse. From now through Aug. 31, the store is offering a 15 percent shopping pass to use storewide, plus it will donate 15 percent of the proceeds from selected artists to Earth Share, a national nonprofit organization.
Selected merchandise/artists include the sterling silver “Seedling” collection by Marlo M Jewelry featuring a little necklace or earring with the attached poem: “Growth Happens even when you’re not watching ... When life seems upside down you can always find your way up ... and sometimes, you just need a good watering.“The store offers hand-made organic, earth-conscious jewelry by New York designer Marjorie Victor, and Cottage by the Sea’s own line of wise little bags with earth-friendly sayings, handmade in Hawaii.
Also, for each purchase you make during this Think Green, Live Green event, you will be automatically entered to win a sterling silver or 14 karat gold LIVE GREEN pendant by nationally renowned celebrity designer Mauri Pioppo (valued at $170 and $385).The necklaces, as seen on singer Sheryl Crow, have been featured as a hot “green” fashion item in People, InStyle, EveryDay with Rachael Ray and other national magazines.
